I really like the choice of shot at 4:45. similar shots in horror movies allow for so much room for interpretation. the dead end is a great set piece and the choice to have the shake itself take up a massive amount of the foreground is haunting (as haunting as a milkshake can be, at least). 1:15 is another great one, the shot is composed so well. i think 2:59 could've been better with more focus on the first shot and more nature sounds rather the only the sound of the light. and finally if 5:01 was a little farther to the right (perhaps showing the shake on the shoreline?) and pulled back slightly to show the scale of the forest (again with nature sounds/waves of the lake). i know i sound like a massive fucking nerd, but that's kinda because i am. i really like movies and the cinematography that goes into them.

Based on what I've learned, when people take a sip of the shake, they don't get attacked by anything right then and there, the shake acts as tranquilizer. I've found traces of THC, which would explain the memory loss some victims experience afterwards. In some cases, the shake causes the muscles in one of the hands to constrict slightly, which would explain why some people don't let go of the cup even after being sedated or deceased.
