The DJI Mic Mini kit allows for storage of the TRS cable and wind muffs attached to the mics, so you’d probably want to correct your video where you say that the M2S charging case has the same problem as every other charging case on the market when it comes to storage of cables etc.

I've been watching a lot of videos on the Hollyland Lark M2S today. This is the best comparison and review I've seen today! Thank you for sharing!

I think this will be a great option for a quick and easy mic'ing process for a wider range of subjects.
On jobs when I need to use a lavalier mic, usually short interviews, I often find that standard wired lavalier microphones are inconvenient for women's clothing.
Firstly, hiding the cable under clothing like vest tops or dresses is more tricky than men's clothing, not to mention more difficult to do in public. And secondly, even using something like a Rode Wireless Pro, whose transmitters are relatively light, they don't clip onto long and/or one-piece clothing easily, and using the magnet is still inconvenient.
It looks like the M2S solves all of these problems without too many compromises on sound quality, so it's on my list for the next suitable project.

The Lark m2 Ive used often on profession jobs for sit down interviews, doc / corps, as a back up to shotgun mic / boom . With the transmitter hidden and the small magnet / with a black or white seal, showing, like a button, or hidden under collar . The quality is fine for broadcast / corporate and so much quicker than hiding lav, cable noise, packs etc.

Great comparison ✅ The sound quality on the M2s is incredibly good 🤩

I will miss the magnet but this works for me, I hate interviews looking like branded content for DJI and lavaliers are a bit of a hassle. Already placed my order.

I didn't notice any difference in audio quality here that your other videos. I think these mics are excellent. I would even go as far to say that even if there was a slight audio difference I would still go for these because the form factors is such a game changer. I think you will see a lot of indi-film and student filmmakers using these. They will save a lot of post hassle.

great comparison video, top marks as always 👌

The best feature about the DJI mics is they can work wirelessly with Sony cameras, but I love how small and discrete these are. And they don't have a massive visible logo that's distracting!

Thanks for the video! Curious if you used any post processing on your audio for the talking head shots using the M2S?

When you said black clip i have other thoughts on my mind, good product

Amazing concept. This would dope for me if it was bluetooth compatible with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.

These look great - any idea if they would work with the Osmo Pocket 3? (maybe with the USB-C phone receiver?) Thanks

Hopefully they don’t get rid of the Lark M2. The new clip design limits how it can be attached. Not being able to attach it to the centre of a T-shirt is a deal breaker. That’s literally the main reason they sold so well and even DJI just ripped off the design with the mini. also not having space in the box for the aux cable again is mind blowing. DJI even made room for a cable in their mic mini box. Sounds good though.

How does the microphone handle wind noise ? Does it need some wind protection at all ....do Hollyland even offer that ?

I want to record each mic onto its own channel. Have you done that with these? Thx.

Can you do a BTS video on how you light your YouTube videos? They look great

I have a question about the mic placement of the mics during the tests.
