I think Kyle gets this 100% cause he's relaxed and smiling. It can be nerve-wracking to try such an iconic song. But the worst thing to do is tense up, which isn't seen here. Kudos.

I transcribed the drum part, then went to YouTube to see if anyone was playing it accurately...this is the most accurate version I've seen, right down to the accent patterns and the subtler hihat openings Neil does on the original recording. Very well done.

Have you seen Meytal Cohen's cover of Tom Sawyer? She did a great job. However she seems to have a different vibe because she doesn't quite attack the drums like Kyle does. Maybe it's a different personality? I wonder if she plays Motley Crue. I'd like to see if she attacks the songs like Kyle does.

Gotta love the chewing...a friend of mine in high school did the same thing and was an awesome drummer. He kept his tempo and stayed in the pocket by doing that. Pretty cool 😎
