You have to be ready to stop if you see anyone near the crossing incident they do decide to cross, he would have failed for moving off before the man has fully completed the crossing

Been taxi driving for 3 days now. Allready way better driver than before. Been driving for over 15 years but being on the road for 5-6 hours a day improves your driving way more. Its like professional football player reading the passing game of the opponents and block thr right player.

hi please I have a problem....I'm italian and I have passed all my exams I was booked in today to collect my badge but when I went there they told me to provide my driving license and share code my right to work in the UK which I provided it and they looked through it but they say on my settled status my name has to come before my surname and the home office has made a mistake so I should call them to fix it before they can issue it for me....please have you come across this problem before and was it resolved???

I can think of two reasons why.

Firstly, it could be that the pedestrians haven't actually stopped at the crossing waiting to cross and were still walking towards the crossing when the taxi stopped.

Secondly, possibly the taxi driver braked quite abruptly and sharp and wasn't taking into account you was behind (no mirror checks).
