❤️❤️❤️ use wheat straw for barn floor bed since it can't be used for cattle as it has high concentration of indigestible carbohydrates but good for calves floor bed # Kayla 💕👍

I like all of your videos. Just finished mowing several hundred miles of roads, one swath from the roadside. The challenge is not to get run over.

There isn't much wheat grown in my area .. The only buyers are feed mills...So Oats bring a better price.... Also since the advent of different shipping methods with watermelons there isn't much demand for any straw....so most all straw is chopped by the combine and spread With our variety of grass there is isn't much drying advantage to be gained with any conditioner....so we run straight KMC cart mounted disc mowers... hooked to GPS assisted The nice thing is with GPS you can set the width of cut to max without leaving "whiskers between the cuts Sit back and watch the grass lay down

I use to have a custom straw baling crew at one time. We baled small bales. We baled over 11, 000 bales one summer. Our motto was We lift bales not weights. It was my family and some real good friends that made up the crew. Good times.
