IASTM + Cupping Therapy Upper Neck

1️⃣ Apply emollient help to instruments glide smoothly over the skin while also softening and protecting. In this case, Jim uses HawkHydro emollient. .

2️⃣ Jim uses the HG8 (scanner) to work on theinfraspinatus, posterior cuff, posterior deltoid, medial deltoid down to the deltoid tuberosity.

3️⃣ Jim uses the HG9 (Tongue Depressor) to J stroke up and down the medial border of the scapula. .

4️⃣ Jim uses the cups to work the broad muscle belly of the infraspinatus. Jim uses the cup to move across the area using tension with negative pressure. Compressing through the rim of the cup and decompressing with the negative pressure in the cup itself. Jim works the cup around the inferior angle up the medial border into the rhomboids. .

5️⃣ Jim uses static cupping (recommending 3-5 minutes) with several cups. He assesses the integument through the cup. Pulls the cups off to release the pressure, remeasure to see if range of motion has been increased, as well as a decrease in pain. .
