Rather than buy packing cubes I repurpose the clear, zipper bags that new sheets/blankets come in. It allows me to store my clothes in the overhead cabinet in the bedroom. Without them it was an annoying mess.

We are not full time, so I use those zippered pouches for packing the kids' outfits for each day. I pack their daily clothes, underwear, and socks in each one and then put them in a Target bin. Then each morning they just pull that pouch out to get dressed. Helps with them rifling through clothes and leaving things disorganized, as well as saving time. I do this for hotel trips where we are using suitcases, too, or camp.

Not sure if this is a hack, but certainly a must have: Wearable head lamp. Invaluable to have for all those times you are doing things around the RV at night and want both hands free, whether it be pulling in late and setting up camp, breakdown on the side of the road at night, or needing to take the dog for a midnight piddle.

Putty/wax makes dusting knick-knacks in your home super easy! If you attach your decor item to the shelf, you can swipe your duster over and around them with minimum chance of knocking them over or off the shelf.

When I was a kid, we went to Yellowstone. With 6 kids and a 20 ft trailer. Weather went from 70s to SNOW. My mom actually starting singing & dancing to entertain us. ❤️😃.

My husband and I lived in a 30 ft camper for 3 1/2 years I honestly enjoyed it. It's not for everyone but I just like the simple things in life..

Those plastic containers are brilliant, I keep my earring in them. Easy to pack for holidays too

Just ordered the grill, I've searched for something like it, thx! Btw, my cheap storage hack is to reuse the clear plastic tubs that organic salad greens come in. They are great for keeping things from rolling around in the fridge.

rather than buying a plastic bin from the Dollar Tree to hold multiple smaller items, I reuse clear plastic salad containers that you get spring mix, spinach or kale in. They are clear which is super helpful to see what is in the bin. And as shown in this video it makes it easy to get things down from those high cabinets.

A couple of hacks to add…. We used Command Picture hanger velcro strips to mount pictures, a magnetic knife rack, and even an Apple TV unit under our wall mount TV. To reduce light coming in skylights in the mornings, we insert sheets of the silver heat insulation inside the skylight and close them in the shade. I leave those in also when the RV is stored to reduce heat in the skylight units.

I’m getting ready to RV full time and I didn’t know what I’d do with my huge puzzle collection. Those zip up bags will be perfect!

I don't have an RV anymore, but I love your hacks (i.e. lily pad works great for quick daily touchups on carpeted stairs so I don't have to vacuum every day and your grill is perfect for beach picnics etc.) and your sense of humor! Drunk drawers indeed!! I could add more but all I really want to say is how great I think your channel is! Ease on down the road - safely!!

We have a drunk-cabinet. It's where we keep the good stuff.

You can use a cereal container as a garbage can in the bathroom. Also I use the museum putty to lock down my non slip mats.

Vacuum bags may be a better choice for those long term items, which are seldom used. I find the hand pump works just fine to vacuum out the air.

Also, shop at Goodwill. I found a TV for $12. Perfect size and works fine. Music CDs for $2.

Those are all such great ideas! I love the idea of "decanting" the board games into zipper pouches! I was also noticing how you made small canvas art pictures of your family at the various campsites and how you put a sticker from each campsite/adventure on the inside of your RV door. Lots of great ideas!

I love the hacks and I’m also a fan of using dollar tree products when I can. Thanks for helping a soon to be newbie!

If you travel on the west coast during the summer, you may not be able to use your grill with burn bans. They restrict what you can use to bbq. Propane grills can be used but charcoal & wood fires are restricted. Just keep that in mind. Great hacks!
