Did alro fix the connection issue during Live recording in the Arlo pro 2? It was by design that the cameras were supposed to re-try after it loses connection and re-try to re-record. From my experience, the alro pro 2 cameras do not try to reconnect but it just stops. Will this be the same problem in the Arlo pro 3 for live recording (if there is connection issues during live recording)?

Good luck having a network to handle that, everything is so compressed that you can't even tell

On top of the networking, most people need to use mesh setup because the base station only repeats the wifi to the cameras not boost or act as a access point, so you only can use next to each other

I would not recommend. I have to restart the base station every other day when I find out it stopped recording events. This really is almost every other day. I just cannot let it be alone, because it stops recording. Very frustrating. Just this morning, last recording was from 17 hrs ago. What if something happened overnight? After I restart the base station, it works perfectly, but no more that for 2 days.

In Italy ADSL is 16 mbs to download and 1mbs to upload... What's the resolution to strem online with this band?

arlo pro 2 is so good that i dont see it worht it the upgrade for 2k or even 4k

I have the arlo pro 2. I will not buy this one because it does have 7 days free cloud storage. Sorry the pro 2 is my last arlo. No free cloud storage and a high price not Worth it

So what is the current plan for the Arlo Website. Everything seems to be pointing to only being a phone/tablet app. My direct experience with this is having just had to reset and re-aquire my cameras on the original Arlo system. The interface all seems to have moved to the phone app not the website. I find this unacceptable, and the whole 'casting' to view if you want to see something NOT on your phone is BS. So without some guarantee that website functionality is remaining and that it will be usable on CHROME, after deprecation of the FLASH player I will not continue to invest in Arlo.

DO NOT BUY ARLO they discontinue and deactivate the cameras you buy every 4 years. So your cameras will only last 4 years. Look up their EOL policy.

I have the Arlo Pro 2 system. So if I want to upgrade my cameras to the Pro 3, I have to replace all my solar panels as well because the charging ports are different now. Just like Apple, another cash-grabbing company that forces their customers to waste money, and encourage waste by making older but perfectly good (AND expensive) accessories obsolete. I won't spend another cent on this company and I hope the brand dies off soon.
