Some information, It's not oil temp the little mano on center but Oil pressure...

Great acceleration from such a small engine. Did always wish the Miata gets a 100hp/litre engine to live up to it's chassis though.

I hope they produce a high powered version and not just a downsized 1.3 liter turbo

I want at least a 1.8 turbo that produces at least 200
but Mazda announced they will team up with alfa romeo to make the next generation (Alfa has a 1.8 turbo in the new 4C that's powerful enough)

it is not the oil temp, but the oil pressure gauge and its normal. the pressure rises as the engine revs go up, in certain limits of course. don't give too much on it, it's just a gimmick and rather useless... but, oil temp gauge would have been a nice one. Greetings.

It did not do the 200s on speedo in this video. Because of cam angle the needle shows more km/h than from the correct angle. It could be only 180 kmh on this vid which could be only 170 real km/h because the speedo shows more than how much the effective speed really is

Oil pressure gauge useless? Sure, oil temp fine then pressure starts to drop. On a street car your more likely to see an issue with oil press. before the temp, due to not checking, oil sheer, plugged filter/galley, leaking, worn pump. And from the pressure you have an idea, abet vague, if your oil is getting hot, it starts running a little lower and engine temp getting a little high, it's a good bet that the oil's getting hot too. I'd call that pretty useful, even w/out a #'d scale.

I have got a same one sport edition 2 liter they are all six speeds mine does 6, 6 sec to 60mph and 140mph top speed by GPS...
