What's your favourite new addition? - Quick update, watching back and remembering the reskin of the SAM Ore, I'm pretty certain the purple resource produced in the opening is some kind of condensed SAM Ore.

I think Coffee Stain is pivoting to a candy factory. We have purple toffee, jawbreakers, lemon drops, and Toblerones. Now all we need is some Oompa Loompas dancing on screen when the power goes down.

I haven't seen anyone comment on the purple exhaust and quantum gravity/light distortion coming out of the constructors and manufacturers early in the video and later in the video. It seems to correspond with the glowing purple power connectors. I think that there's a way to further boost/overclock the output of constructors and manufacturers (and assemblers?) using the purple crystals or gas somehow.

Also the new metal finish on pipes and the accelerators is definitely some new type of paint or color swatch with the paint gun. They said earlier they're getting rid of the color cartridges and flowers and part of the reason is probably because they're adding metal finishes and it doesn't make sense to make a color cartridge and metal finish paint from flowers.

The pipes may just be decorative, but with the new color variations in the recipes, we might get MK3 pipes like the MK6 conveyor belts.

My guess to the yellow item, that happens to look very similar to a certain lamp at IKEA, is that there will be nuclear fusion as a new way to generate energy and this item is the fuel.

the different looking pipes are definitely showing us that the customizer has been given metallic colours. We can see that some of the buildings, namely the particle accelerators have also been painted with metallics

The more I think about the metalic pipes and buildings, the more I think it's really that we have much more freedom with colour selection, with the metalic channel being opened up. Either as just part of the colour selection in general, or an awesome store unlock. I am super hyped by the new building pieces - I hope these are in addition to existing pieces, rather than replacing - I still mourn the smooth face of the old painted wall!

I think the rose gold pipes are just a new swatch or material type, seeing as there is plenty of close-ups that show the particle accelerators are using the same scheme. There are also additional visual effects not currently present in U8, such as some glass windows distorting what you see through them, and reflective surfaces on the constructors' output rings, where the U8 versions are quite dull

5:55 the items listed off that are going into the manufacturers are the same for the current recipe for Supercomputers, but it produces an item with the model that we currently know as the Quantum Computers. Additionally, the Quantum Computers go into a Quantum Encoder to make the top-heavy item that goes to who knows where, it does vaguely resemble the current Supercomputer model.
This could mean that Computers are used to make Quantum Computers and Quantum Computers are used to make Supercomputers.
OR (what I think is more likely) the model that we knew as the model for Quantum Computers is now the model used for Supercomputers, and Quantum Computers will have the new top-heavy looking item as their model.

I actually think that the purple gas is a result of overlocking, since we see it on several different types of machines and I also noticed visual and audio improvements everywhere in the video

The purple fluid i think that is Plasma. Is like a gas but has been ionised by its temperature. The Sun is full of plasma
