How many people does it take to change a light bulb? One person? Ten including the mandor & person holding the ladder & person to hold the bulb & 8 to check if it is a LED light or not?
**An allegation was made on 16 December although there were rumblings in November
The minister orders a prompt probe around a week later? Why the delay?
The university finally suspends the person who is in the allegations....this is 10 days after the allegations started.
The person involved is alleged to be a repeat offender
Why do we take sooooo longggggg to spring into action?
Erratum:
i) Zambry ordered the "immediate" probe on 21/12/24 but it was reported by the media on 22/12/24

Dear Madam, we are so lucky to have you to highlight all these nonsenses. However, its seem all have fallen to deaf ears. PMX and all his ministries just couldn't bother. However, do keep up the good work.

Another experience between Singapore and Malaysia customs.
Malaysia custom officers talk about personal matters more than they work. Not Singapore custom officers.
No wonder Singapore is so far far way way ahead of Malaysia.

I've studied in Gov higher education. Lecturers like they have absolute immunity (gods) and some of them do take advantage of that. like Meraba perempuan in hostel, compliant further other lecturer will fail you. Ustaz demean other race, complaint further you will fail. Physically assault student, compliant further other lecturer will fail you. Humiliate students in public. Most students know they are there because they cannot afford outside education and with failing exam you can get kicked out. Many will choose to press no further. Kudos to UM students to highlighting this.

The rot has been going on for 60 years. It has become the culture of Malays. If a NM is involved, there will be immediate action taken. If malay, there will be a lot of hand wringing, claims of ketuanan melayu, shouts of sayang, sayang, and there might, just might have some action taken. All this problems only affect Malays. The NEP and ketuanan policies have destroyed their resilience.

My experience many times : The escalators and elevators at JB custom going to City Square take more than a month to repair when they breakdown. Malaysia boleh.
In Singapore, it would have been repaired in 3 days.

Alot of Politechics graduates are now working in JKR . Most of them are ZERO in their work. They dont know what they are doing. No guidance because the Engineers also don't know their work but pretends they are good in their work. The situation are really bad. Contractors are happy with them because easily for them to cheat. Whatever the contractors does - they just say - Yes Man.

Huh you covered every aspect of an enquiry, malaysian style- sadly for all of us you will never be elected to office, in case you stood. The reason- you are an intelligent, thinking human being. These qualities you possess excludes you from holding a post in the Malaysian government.

One to buy the bulb!
One to hold the bulb in case it falls!
One to transport the bulb from one place to another
One to change!
One to make sure it follows the SOP !
One to supervise!
etc
Please do add more !
Waste of RAKYAT's
to deal with nonsense & incapability, inefficiency etc

Like anything else in Malaysia, the bureaucracy is mind-bogling.

Dear Kak Mariam, good morning, as spoken by Kak kak, it seemed that similar type of incident/incidents had happened with different Prime Minister ruling. Why is this kind of shameful incident was not addressed/probe in the other PM ruling?, letting it continue till than, but with Madani govenment/PMX the probe on this incident was carried out urgently. We Malaysian should be very grateful to PMX/Manadi Govn. .of which in the past, the other govenment had not investigated on this kind of incident(as what I understand from kak Mariam talk) Syabas Madani government, for acting on this shameful matter urgently, thus we should thanks and be grateful to the present Manadi Government and PMX

Every institution should have one department that deals with investigation, emergencies, queries something like MACC, customer service to straight away deal with the crux of the matter witout delay. If you’ve too many layers, it’s already bureaucracy. Matters like this should be treated with urgency.

This is in most institutions in Malaysia. Especially Government related. It's the herd mentality combined with anti meritocracy, endless rotation of bad ministers over the decades, and crony involvement with personal agendas that don't benefit the institutions.
