Pagani Design PD 1766

Another homage to something too dear for me! This watch has even less to do with 1957 than a famous brand name offering which costs lots more. While the famous brand this imitates culturally appropriates the Greek alphabet, this brand culturally appropriates Italian sports cars.
Still here we have a super stylish budget but great value steel chronograph.

I have the black dial version I love Pagani's I've got loads of 'em! lol

I'm not a fan of single domed crystals which displays too much distortion. I would prefer a double domed crystal. Too bad they didn't include the date window at 6. The VK64 has a date wheel so I suppose there is a ghost date in this watch. I have a Pagani PD1718 BB58 Chrono homage with the same movement without a date window also. I imagine it's cost savings not having to cut out a window on the dial although Pagani does it on their Daytona and Speedmaster models. I wish budget brands used the VK67 which as the traditional 7750 subdial layout with 12 hour counter. The chrono counts up to 12 hours and doesn't have the 24 hour hand.
