Bobby Flay dropped everything to spend six weeks in Rome and fell in love with the lifestyle, the culture and, most of all, the food. Wanting a local guide to really help him understand Italy, Bobby called Giada De Laurentiis. Having grown up in Italy, Rome is in her blood, and together they embark on the trip of a lifetime. Bobby and Giada spend a month in Rome and Tuscany, getting inspired by the history and traditions of Italian cuisine and enjoying la dolce vita!

I absolutely love Giada, sorry, Bobby notta so much. He is no Stanley Tucci. Who thought to assign bobbie to this duo? I will be preparing this recipe, it looks exquisite ! For those who haven't tried imported mortadella- please only get ridiculously thin sliced mortadella. Mortadella, meaning “mortar ground sausage, ” specifically refers to a finely ground pork sausage that’s flavored, it is a rich and buttery meat. It is not bologna, though it is from, you guessed it; Bologna. It is made with red wine, myrtle berries. A traditional high-quality mortadella contains around 35% pork trimmings (shoulder) (90% CL grade), pork trimmings (85% CL grade), 15% pork belly, 10% tripe and 20% visible cubes (around 1 cm × 1 cm) of pork neck fat. If no tripe is available, then 35% belly meat is used.

Idk... I mean my grandparents straight from Sicily... doesn't sound that yummy to me... there's a nice practical lady on you tube I'd rather watch from the south who cooks with practical ingredients... don't care what these 2 do together or not... I'm over watching them cook... waste my time watching 2 rich people going around europe...

Ok I'm never going to attempt making these so I'll have to fly to Rome. And that's ok.

Giada showing her ignorance of Southern Italian cuisine. Yes they serve meatballs together with pasta. Chitarra alla Teramana, Pasta Seduta and a handful of other authentic dishes. By the way she seems to think these are small meatballs but they are actually large compared to the southern Italian tradition.

Even the real "TRUE" Italian's are annoyed with her. I love how she insults "America". Ellen put her in check 😂🤣😂🤣 that eas Ellen's best show ever
