Tens of thousands of pennies were weighing on Andreas Flaten’s mind until help arrived. After Andreas gave his two weeks notice at work and asked for his final paycheck, a pile of 90,000 oil-slicked pennies showed up at his house. Andreas tried cleaning the pennies off, preparing to cash them in. It was proving to be a time-consuming process, but as news of the stunt got around, one company realized it could help. Shop owner showed his true colors. And if he “doesn’t remember” if he did this or not, then he didn’t give him his last paycheck

What a low-life boss, doing this. Hopefully the other employees that work there left as well!

If that’s how he treats a former employee, imagine how he would treat a dissatisfied customer.

Latest news : The employee sued the company and won. Now the former boss has to pay him 40, 000 in damages.

Wow, that boss has the maturity level of an eight year old

Way to go Coinstar for stepping in and helping this young man, and what a low life of an ex-boss.

The boss denied any responsibility so technically the guy hasn’t been paid yet.

Much respect for the cointstar VP who made a trip out there.

I bet his former boss is SEETHING knowing his immature tactics didn't work. As we should, we helped out another in need. It's ridiculous what people stoop to.

I bet that Andrea is extremely relieved that he quit his job now and just absolutely knows he did the best move of his life.

I hope we can all agree that the boss is a immature little baby. His employee gave 2 weeks to be courteous, he could have quit on the spot if he felt like it. In return, his boss is acting like a vindictive ex-wife. Small pp energy for sure.

The boss got sued and ordered by court to pay $40, 000 in stolen wages

Someone said that since the former baby boss didn't actually own up to paying him in penny's, he technically didn't get paid by his former boss and can still ask for his check. That's a big brain move I'd look into.

His boss was snickering to himself thinking he's some sort of badass that's in the right when really he just proved to be a piece of garbage.

That’s the pettiest employer and should be fined for mistreating an employee to this extent

And now the boss has been ordered to pay almost $40, 000 to former employees (including the one featured in this video) in back pay and damages.
Maybe he realizes it costs less to just be nice?

Hilarious how the boss called him a weenie for bringing it up yet he doesn't think he himself is a weenie for not only paying the guy with pennies but also slathering grease/oil all over them. This man is the epitome of a man child

I can tell the world why this guy quit this job! I don’t blame him, no one wants to work for a jerk like that!

So if the employer says he didnt do it then hes still owed his last paycheck.

If the boss says it wasn't him who did it I'd say the boss still owes him his $1000 then
