Velestino-Aerino cab ride by Wickham MB

Complete route between Velestino and Aerino with dresine cab Wickham MB of Thessaly Historical Railway.
The route is part of the old metric gauge line of Thessaly between Volos and Kalambaka.

The Volunteer team of the Thessaly Museum Railway started to operate on the Velestino Station - Farsala line from 2000 having the largest part of the line up to Paleofarsalos. Now for difficult reasons only the 13km-long Velestino Statino -Aerino line is open and is in good condition. The volunteers goal is to reach Chalcodonio (5km after the Air) and then slowly to re-integrate all other stations up to Farsala on the Thessaly Museum Railway network !!
