15:39 Love the fact that hey have a middlefinger option in the app, it wouldn't be fair if people with a prostetic couldn't flip somebody off.

I LOVE how passionate Aadeel is about his company. These are the kinds of people we need to start taking center stage.

The whole hacksmith team is too good for this world. They chose to give her the Gatorade bottle to flip and cheered her on like it was the greatest thing any of them had ever seen. Wish we had more people like this

The pressure feedback system is a real game-changer. Able-bodied people with all their limbs don't tend to realise how amazing it is that we can use our hands whilst hardly ever looking at them, and yet get the perfect level of grip on an object pretty much _every_ time. When you're suddenly made aware of it, like watching a video such as this one, it makes you realise just how complex and amazing the human body is - and how much of our bodily actions/functions are almost completely automated, without need for concious processing, focus or thought.
Also makes you wonder, just how much of me is actually _me_ in control, and how much is my body just a pre-programmed robot that I'm merely occupying and taking a ride in.

Aadeel actually spoke to our Bioengineering Seminar class this past Spring semester. Apparently, one of our engineering professors was good friends with him, so we were able to speak to him over zoom and get a Psyonic hand for demos. Definitely the coolest thing I saw in that class!

I legit forgot Ani was missing her arm during this until she took it off, it felt so natural the way she behaved with it and moved it that i forgot it wasn't just a glove over a real hand, really hopefull for this tech to go even further

First of all, you're looking great, James. Younger, well rested, and it feels you're calmer, so I hope that's the case and you're getting better and better.
About this Bionic Hand... this is the kind of things that give me back my hope in humankind. This kind of inventions, this kind of amazing technology made to actually improve life, not to wildly consume or destroy it. I'm happy to see that you're making them get more visual, because their job is really difficult and really special.
Thank you for being who you are, Hacksmith team. And of course, thank you Psyonic for doing such a great task!

I make sockets and I can tell you, sockets they won’t go obsolete. Right now bone integration have a failure rate that can cause you to become even more of an amputee. Not to mention there will always be people who don’t want a rod sticking out of their body permanently. I had a patient that fell on his once. Splintered what was left of his bone. Now, As the bone integration get better, these problems should subside but sockets won’t be obsolete. Especially with people like me, innovating to make sure every patient has the most comfortable experience with my prosthetics.

This is so cool. Im glad that society is finally getting to the point that people will be able to actually be capable of getting prosthetic limbs.

I'm having a hard time believing that we're so close to actual functioning Star Wars technology. What a time to be alive!

This is actually one of the best filmed, edited, and narrated videos y’all have made

I wonder how well a winter soldier metal arm type of design would work, it would have a lot of mobility but it’s very compact too. The scale like structure would just allow for the most movement possible. Depending on how good the technology gets for these prosthetics we could definitely see something like Bucky’s metal arm.

I used to watch these channels like 5 or 6 years ago. I recently started to binge on some of the newer videos and I'm so proud of the progress and improvements in both the video quality and the scales of the projects themselves. I'm so glad that you're using your channel to spread awareness of this new and growing industry in technology. You've inspired me to see engineering as more than another boring math and science subject. You've helped me enjoy learning and discovering different topics. I now want to either be a mechanical engineer or maybe study engineering physics. I thank you and will always be grateful for being a part of such a pivotal part of my childhood. I hope you guys realize that you're inspiring a whole generation to take on engineering and have fun learning new things.

Being a Retired Green Beret, I have friends with limb issues and other war-related debilitating injuries, so to see you guys putting this up front is so AWESOME! Thanks for sharing!

I have been following bionic limb development for years. It had been so exciting seeing scfi become reality. I recently started medical school so now I can kinda imagine myself getting into the industry in the future. I presume i should be studying a lot of neurology.

As someone in the military who also works in the medical field, this is absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait for our doctors to start implementing some sort of office that works specifically with this kind of tech
