Best way to counter trapper is to find out where basement is early and if he starts chasing you, head as far away from it as possible. If you see he has agitation and iron grasp, always prioritise getting away from basement

Yesterday I played as a Trapper in RPD. I brought the most powerfull build posible and all the gens pop, no one Trapped, zero hooks, always hearing the notification of disarming a trap and they t-bag at the exit gates.

The trapper add on where the survivor gets hurt when disarming a trap and where he gets a speed boost for placing them is pretty good. Stay away from basement and don’t go for a save if someone gets hooked in basement. Prioritize gens.

If you see trapper going basement don't waste your time. Bunch of them doing this built.. do gen.. let him get 1 kill only especially you're swf. Tell your friends if he bring this, iron grasp, agitation, and that perk that will progression into second state fast while in basement.. I forgot that name.
