At the ripe old age of 23 and still one year away from his true breakout season, future Hall of Famer Reggie Miller made his NBA 3-Point Shootout debut midway through the 1988-89 campaign. With a first round score of 15 points, Miller advanced to the semi-finals where he bowed out with an 11-spot.
