To turn on water lock automatically, I have added a shortcut on my phone that turns on water lock when I start a running training. Works like a charm.

Did you know that if you tap the screen during the 3-2-1 countdown, it will skip the countdown and just start the workout? 😅❤

Nice video I used to have an Apple Watch but ditched it for a Garmin Epix Gen 2 about 2 years ago. It’s interesting to see that it’s improving as a running watch but still lags behind in terms of features. The biggest deal breaker for me though is the lack of battery life. Good luck for the marathon, do you have a goal time?

The waterlock does not really help me. I would like to get a hardware/button lock instead because my crown somehow is always rotating while running and therefore changing my screens. Very annoying.

No need for hr chest strap though, the aw has been showed repeatedly that its running hr is 99% accurate compared to a polar chest strap

Hey nice vid! You got a new Strava follower ;).
I would have liked it if you talked about your use of a chest strap. I watched The Qualified Scientist video's where he compared the accuracy of a chest strap vs various Apple Watch models and it seems to be pretty much on par. Is there a specific reason why you're using one? The only way I can find a justification is having the reliability of readings, sometimes if my apple watch band is not tight enough, it simply won't read my heart rate at all.
