Thank you for making this video.. I'm 42 and rocking the same asymptomatic boat. Lots of health deterioration but no answers why. First iron infusion today, running to bathroom, terrible muscle pain.

Wish you could have some of MY blood! I have Heamochromotosis. Too much iron! My ferritin can go up to 250 - 300 before I have a venesection (3-4 times of giving 500-600ml blood), and the blood just gets chucked away!

My 17 year old just had an iron infusion last week. She has Von Willebrands disease. Ehlers Danlos syndrome and Pots.

Iron infusions always affect my hemoglobin and hematocrit long before my hematologist said that is totally normal and what they expect.

I receive Injectafer iron infusion once a year. It's done over two sessions. No Benadryl required like with a transfusion. I also had a small bowel obstruction. Why are they not resecting the affected bowel to remove the necrotic tissue and waste? Are they going to try to decompress it with an NG Tube?

I know you know a lot about your condition, and I appreciate that, but you acknowledge that really, you don't know what is going on right now, so instead of playing a guessing game, think which of your doctors might best know what's going on, and make a "stat" appointment with him or her. I hope that things get better soon.

Good luck with your iron Infusions! So sorry you had some nasty symptoms! I have to start getting them, as iron supplements don't help me. Is there any advice that anyone has? I am worried about the side effects! Thanks for sharing! Much love from a fellow Zebra!
