Even though the controller is fully charged, the power indicator on the dock shows that the controllers are now starting to charge; is there a way to synchronize the battery levels between the dock and the controllers?

Bought one the other day at Best Buy but it doesn’t work put my controller to charge but it didn’t charge when I grab my controller it was dead and the charger was saying it had full charger 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
