This video is about the differences between the timelapse modes on a DJI Osmo Pocket 2. If you're an amateur or an average joe using the Osmo Pocket 2 then you may wonder when to use timelapse versus motionlapse versus hyperlapse. I share the definition of each mode, the basics, tips on using any timelapse mode, and my opinion on when each mode is best. I also have a test near the end of the video that shows timelapse versus hyperlapse. You decide which mode is best for you.

I would not have thought of using hyperlapse for a tripod-type timelapse but your excellent example is food for thought. Thank you!

Thanks for the tutorial. I don't quite understand Hyperlapse. Couldn't you just record in standard video and then speed it up in post edit?

Do you get jitter movement on the gimbal when taking motionlapse?

I do not see the 0.5 interval on my Osmo Pocket. Is it only on the Osmo Pocket 2? This is driving me crazy because I really like your videos. Can you help?

Great tutorial!!. One question: do you use timelapse and just save the video? Because I see that your interval value is 0.5 and if you want this value with the dji pocket 2 is not possible save the video not the jpeg or raw, right? That means that you scalate the video from 1080 to 4k and you apply some edition to the color?.
Sorry for my english, Regards from Spain:)
