Are these stocks still valid? TBH the market is overwhelming, I've liquidated over $250K worth of assets and I could really use some advice on what best to invest into.

You say you are a value investor and you are doing this since 2000. Please just show us one of the stocks that you have more than 5 years. Or what are the stocks that you bought during the financial crisis??? Just saying you are a long-term investor and using DCF doesn’t add you to Warren Buffet’s team. You need to prove you are really the investor that you claim to be.

You always say you are a value investor and you invest for long time. Can you just show us one stock that you had more than 5 years and what the performance was? You say you’ve been investing since 2000 just show us what stocks you had for a long time!!!

Thank you for your hard work. I am a supporter of value investing. My name is Ivan. I live in Belarus and due to sanctions some of my papers remain blocked. I do not know English and I translate each of your videos through a neural network. Warren Buffett remains my idol in investing. Thanks again and I'm always looking forward to the video.

They have a process based on fundamental analysis. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.

Paul, just tell us which stocks you've held for the past 5 years that are actually higher than where you bought them. We know you liked INTC, FB, BABA, CCL. Those are all down if you bought 5 years ago.

You gloat about calling the downfall of ARK but don't show us how you've outperformed Cathy Wood? Or have you even outperformed index funds like S&P and QQQ over the past 5 years?

When you said "wrong", what do you mean exactly by that? do you mean not giving the return as expected or what?

Not questioning. Difficult though. I think it's also a behavioral thing that makes a value investor. It's an art. Without the behavioral aspect it won't go

Giving Buffet 100k, 60 years ago at 20% would be 5.7 billion today

I think value investors will do great during a market crash but growth investors provided they pick the strongest ones will outperform because growth stocks will sell off much harder and have way more upside. High quality growth stocks will sell off just as bad as the garbage ones because the market is going to panic and throw the baby out with the bath water. I have my list of best growth stocks in the market and those are the companies I will be focused on the only value investing I will be doing is in google and PayPal because they both have plenty of growth potential and they fit both categories growth and value. My focus is going to be on Nio, Tesla, Sofi and new positions in ABNB, CELH, CRWD, SNOW, TTD, AMD and GLBE if they hit my price targets. Good luck to all investors no matter what strategy you use. This market crash is going to be a lot of fun. Another 30% drop is coming and I will be buying aggressively over the next 12-18 months and holding for at least a decade.

Just to clarify one more time tesla doesn’t have to sell 20 mil cars. 10 mil cars and the charging network revenue, solar shingles, battery pack, along possibly with one or more of android business, robo taxi, full self driving licensing, etc can easily get tesla to equivalent of 20 mil cars.
Amazon literally made it because of AWS, but telsa I same they have a lot of different revenue possibility’s and only need one of them to hit.

01:46 I don't like the Cathy Wood "Process" but you continue to ignore that she set the $4000 price target years ago (it even says 2018 in the quote). This was before the 5:1 stock split so her price target was actually hit. Cathy Wood makes so much stupid buys which you can bash her for but not for selling TSLA at her price target which she set years ago, it makes you unprofessional

Being right above clearly overvalued companies like the Peletons etc doesn’t mean your investment style works. Because the stocks you pick (Meta, Intel, Baba etc) have massively underperformed the market and likely will over the long term. IMO long term growth is more important than jumping in and out of dying companies that seem cheap

Value investing isn’t wrong. Your projections of future earnings are frequently wrong though (on Meta, intc, Tesla, Baba etc).
