This is honestly such dumb nonsense

The Ogdo Bogdo is a completely nonsense boss in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. I hate it, so let's talk about it.

Cal even has PTSD. When you defeat him you can talk with a frog in the boss room. Then that frog will show up in Domas shop. Talk with it and you unlock a echo fight, where it's two of them. And Cal is having PTSD about it.

I thought you were going to mention Rick the Door Technician.
It scared me seeing him across the hallway with a full bar of health, but then countered him and killed him. That embodied the nonsense I thought it would carry through, but I haven’t seen anything like it again. Very funny but it was frightening at first.

I've heard people say this boss was bugged and wasn't supposed to be that bullshit. Either that's true, or the devs really embraced the Oggdo Bogdo meme and decided to make this one insanely hard.

Fought him last night and never, never in my years of playing games did I have the desire to scream like that. When I finally killed him (on an easier difficulty which hurt even more) and got the pink poncho from the chest, I just started to laugh hysterically as my mental health declined even more

It was genuinely awful. The scariest part is that I died so many times to them that by the time I finally won I was effortlessly dodging all of their attacks. I swear if this is considered a canon part of Cal’s story it should be his Trial of Skill, Courage AND Flesh for the sheer trauma he’d have had from seeing two eldritch nightmare
frogs at the same time.

Spawn of oggdo and the double frog force tear is basically a ridiculous easter egg. Respawn realized ppl were furious about oggdo in the first game and dialed it to 11. I like how when you first do the force tear Cal says, "No, it couldn't be"

I laughed for a solid 3mins when I fell and read the name before The Son hopped out😂

Damn this makes me feel so seen. Not only does this validate my failure at beating this thing
But the fact the the first one in fallen order is infamous made me realize that I wasn’t just really ass in the game

My brother in law found that when you slice up the droids above, two Bedlam smashers will run to the cliff above you. Bait the trapdoor into opening, and then on each side of the door there’s little latch-like spots that act as sweet spots, where you can one at a time double- jump to force pull the smashers into the pit with spawn. They consistently get him to half health.

Knowing all this, spawn is still the hardest boss I’ve fought. I’d like to see him 1v1 the second Dagon fight move set

As a little tip to beat the boss: If you use the pistol stance you can cancel his unblockable attacks with a charged shot. Hope this helps some of you

Glad I wasn't the only one finding this boss to be too broken on grandmaster. I seemed to cheesed it differently from than most here, I cleared the droids above Oggdo "arena" without opening it and then force pulled the two Bedlam Smashers that you can see above the cliff, once they're standing above the "arena" I just dropped them in, they'll take away 1/2 to 3/4 of Oggdo's health away and you can drop in and carefully kill him with lightsaber throws.

Just need to remember to parry the smashers when they drop, they some times teleport-attack to Cal once they drop off the cliff.😂

Not ashamed to admit that I cheesed the Spawn of Oggdo fight by camping in the corner and throwing my lightsaber at it haha. And the spot in the game where you fight two at once, I legitimately tried a couple times, but when I saw what it was going to be, I turned it down the story mode and curb stomped them both, because it wasn't worth giving away my enjoyment of the game

This boss can be beaten through cheese even on the hardest difficulty. Heres how:

Equip the Blaster stance
Put skill points into having more ammo
Equip the marksman perk for more damage.

Now for the Cheese:
Run above the whole that opens to oggdo, but make sure to jump and dash to avoid falling inside.

Now you should be at the top with the hatch open, Just keep shooting him until he dies.

For ammo you can go around the camp killing the droids and raiders, then go back to Oggdo and keep shooting. Dont leave the area otherwise his health will replenish fully.

I think the most unfair about the two oggdo fights is that the AI of the frogs seem to know when you’re about to die so they end up upping the aggression and coming at you with everything they have like a combo with 4 straight attacks ending in an unblockable one. This usually ends up putting you in a corner, almost guaranteeing your death.

After a couple hours of fighting him and learning his attack patterns, it felt super good to have a clean no hit run on my kill. The dual blades were wonderful to use the animation cancelling and learn which attacks were safe to attack after. That was my first legendary hunt, and the rest of them died in a single attempt each. It was a bit of a let down after the beatdown the frog gave me.

Tip for fight: Most unblockables can be dodged by a decently timed double jump (double jump + dash if you have unlocked allows for easier dodges). Tongue attack and charge attack can be dodged by this, although, the bite down attack HAS to be avoided by a regular dodge. I beat him on Jedi Master difficulty with this.

Hope this helps anyone who cannot beat. : )

Happy to hear I wasn't the only one struggling. This thing is ABSOLUTELY unbalanced and I cannot tell you how pointlessly stressed out I got over it. I'm going to leave it for now and come back when I'm more beefed up.

Fallen order had a dodge roll when you double tap the dodge button. Jedi Survivor replaced it with a way worse dodge that doesn't travel as far, that's why this boss is so hard. Oggdo Bogdo wasn't even hard in fallen order because you could actually dodge its attacks.

Can confirm. Fighting 2 of them was a nightmare
