Before storing after a session, I wipe the lip of the jar so it doesn't get glued closed, I spritz the inside of the jar, and I wipe the sponge on a mop-up sheet, such as one used to mop up ink for smoosh techniques. I spritz it and wipe so more. I worry that much washing will loosen the sponge from the applicator, but as you point out, you can apply this with a dauber, or a makeup sponge, or even paint with it. I have a full set that have all lasted for years with this protocol.

I find it a bit streaky for creating a plain background, but I often use it on cardstock scraps for die-cutting sentiments. Some glazes are so plasticized that they won't die cut well, but I've never had a problem with these.

Similar products include Opal Polish, which is a duo-tone interference polish that is amazing on light and dark prints, a matte polish with pastels, and a Lustre Polish with shiny silvery bits.

Both Ranger Lunar Paste and Crafter's Workshop Stencil Butter are quite similar (without the applicator); I use all three products and enjoy them very much.

What an informative video. Love all the techniques you did with this paste. I do believe I have some and have never used it so guess it's time to get it out now that you taught me so much. Thanks for taking your time to give us these tips and techniques.

My gilding pastes just sit and have never been used. Thanks for the reminder how great they are. Time for some playtime.

Thank you. Have just bought some at a garage sale and only knew the original way to use it.

They dry so quickly that actually blending them is difficult. Once completely dry, they can be layered.
