There is a significant coincidence between the recent induction of Indian Nuclear Submarine (SSBN) INS Arighaat and this recent test launch of Agni-4 (IRBM). INS Arighaat carries K-4 SLBMs. Both K-4 and Agni-4 have a range of 4000 kms. India now has the capability of nuclear strike up to 4000 kms both from land and under sea (1st and 2nd strike). Both these launches are a common message to China.

K4 missile can reach Beijing if fired from Bay of Bengal, 4000 km range is more than 3200-3300 required for Beijing. Hence, the article in Global Times for India to be responsible.

Theoretically AGNI V volume is bigger than Minute Man 2(Retired) with 13000 KM range. So by that logic AGNI 5 in 2024 should atleast have a range of 12000 km considering we are advanced in missile tech.
