I was going here just a week ago from Hungary to Italy. I enjoyed the trip very much. Over 400 photos of the journey, all taken at road signs or beautiful segments.

A5 is the only Slovene motorway I haven't yet driven on. It is interesting that this road is a 110 kph motorway, but H4 from Razdrto to Nova Gorica is only an expressway. Looks like the same (sub)standard, the difference is that H4 has tighter curves and steeper slopes due to terrain.

4:57 That's one thing with Euro signage. Where I live, it's the opposite: we add like only 2 cities on these signs on our freeways. For example, on A-20 West after leaving Québec City, you get a distance sign mentionning Drummondville and Montreal, skipping over every other city the freeway passes through, like Laurier-Station and Saint-Hyacinthe.

Another "Ex-highway" as those complaining about the A4 Krzyżowa-Wrocław motorway would say. Looking at the area, it doesn't look like a difficult area to build on, so they could save a lot by not having an emergency lane
