/Tuned goes to Sarasota to visit Heffner Performance, the first company to ever build a twin-turbo kit for the Lamborghini Gallardo. In a barely marked, unassuming suburban shop, Jason Heffner turns out some of the tuning world's craziest creations. His twin-turbo Lamborghini LP-560 seems so right, however, that we feel it should be standard equipment from the factory.

i believe he's referring to the new Europe-only RS6 Avant, which comes with a twin-turbo version of the 5.2L V10 making (I think) 575 HP.

We've said this a million times. Underground wasn't interested in working with us, and Heffner, being the first one to TT a modern lambo, is the better story.

They used to sell a dealer option of a twin turbo kit for the Diablo, platinum motors offered it. It was called the Diablo VTTT 750bhp.

i went to Heffners shop in MD back in the mid 90's for a dyno day..hell of a nice guy and he had some sick Vipers in his shop back then..what he was known for at the time. Could see his attention to detail and passion back then strapping our little imports down hour after hour and getting the best numbers out of them. Glad to see his business and name has grown and he is going great. He'll get my lambo when my lottery #'s hit. :-)

Heffner also makes a 1500 WHP Gallardo, it was the gray car in the shop shots. People like to conveniently forget that.

i love how matt is talking about the big boys SUPRAS, how much power can you make on them, and how the supra is still popular today . driving a 900 hp lambo is sick, driving a 1200 hp supra is ever sicker.

we have a sendheiser studio microphone on an XLR cable on the exhaust while I'm driving, on input 2 on the HPX170, with my sendheiser wireless lav on input 1. Tom does a great job of balancing it out.
