So if you have AF option on the lens, are you supposed to also have the AF option turned on the camera itself as well?

Have the lens, it's great for the $110 price, but overall is a joke of a lens in comparison to slightly more pricey lenses. Please watch more videos on this (perhaps Christopher Frost Photography has the best honest review) before you jump to buying. It is actually good for close shots, macro shots are also good, but there are absolutely unacceptable issues with it if you're trying to be an automotive photographer as I am, or are going to shooting at a distance. If you've yet to buy a camera body, I recommend looking for a bundle with this lens as I did. On a scale from 1-10 forgetting the low price, it's a 3. All things considered, (including price), it's a 6 and only because of the price.

sir, can u have a tutorial on how to clean lens on this tamron? i have the same tamron u had, their is some fungus on the front lens when I getting out the front lens their is a fungus inside at the back of the lens, and it is hard to open the back lens.their is two lenses the fron and the back and the fungus are inside the back lens. what tools to open the back lens sir? I NEED YOUR HELP

This very good lense i m using personally. But u can use with that camera that have Image Stabilizer

could you explain the difference between Tamron A17E AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro and tamron sp 70-300mm f/4-5.6 di vc usd. which one you would suggest since there is a huge price variation

Your focussing sucks, bro. You should work on that by using manual focus or less fidgetting
