What if the symptoms don’t move necessarily but they definitely increase and decrease in intensity day by day sometimes morning to night, etc?

Very good explanation on the importance of gathering evidence and also, how to go about it! Thanks!

Hi Tanner, thanks so much for all this information. I identify with the nervous system overload. I have M.E/CFS for exactly 15 years triggered by a virus& trouble with uterine polyps. I work as a Social Worker & Ive been out of work for two long periods over this space of time. At the moment Im off work due to a less intense crash ( thank god). In my line of work I guess my nervous system is constantly being triggered with resultant symptoms . Thanks to your videos Im practising somatic excercises to get myself back on track.

I think you bring such clarity to your postings. I am on the fence about this but I am moving toward the belief that it is neurplastic in nature. I am going to check out the link. It sounds like it offers a more concrete way to assess the question of neuroplasticity. Think this will be very helpful. Thanks Tanner.

I am literally in love with your videos! Thanks for sharing such valuable knowledge. My sister is suffering from chronic pain and I think that it is neuroplastic because some criteria are checked such as inconsistency, spread and movement, multiple symptoms, pain always increases after an inadequate night sleep which happens often because she suffers also from chronic insomnia… She is also perfectionist and people pleasing :) However, regarding the « lacking physical diagnosis » criteria, some practitioners mentioned that she might suffer from chronic Lyme disease and her blood tests results show immune system dysregulation suggesting a potential bacterial infection. We have been binging on your videos because we finally see some hope and maybe an explanation to what’s happening but we are wondering if it is possible to have neuro plastic pain/symptoms (fatigue, insomnia…) and at the same time some structural problems such as a disturbed immune system caused by a potential bacterial infection? Please help us understand. I tried to book a first call with you but it seems that you do not have an international coverage. Thanks a lot for your sincere help 🙏

My symptoms occur first thing in the morning every morning and after I eat any food my doctors say I have IBS. Blood tests and colonoscopy are normal but for years I've had chronic pain through my intestines and stomach area and when I eat first thing in the morning I get pins and needles in my butt! If my stools are too soft I get strong urges to go to the loo even after I have already been. Is this neuroplastic? I've had theses symptoms for many years

Hi Tanner. For years now I’ve believed my pain is neuroplastic. However, after going through your checklist I think I may be wrong! Can you tell me if somatic tracking can still work for physical pain? Thank you.

Can I ask you a question? Can I do this all by myself or do I have te buy a brainretraining program online? I want to heal myself. Thank you so much for the uploads. Sending love to you and your family from the Netherlands 🙏🍀❤️

But seriously, Tanner, do you really not think that structural pain can also vary in its intensity, as perceived by the brain?
