Sawadee khrab! this is Phil Travel. In this video, join me on my visit to Muang Boran Museum, or the Ancient City, located in Samut Prakan, south east of Bangkok. Also known as the ‘Mini Thailand’, it is a private museum which was opened since 1972. It is the largest ‘open-air museum’ in the World which is spread over 200 acres. The open museum showcases miniature famous historical landmarks from all over Thailand and Thai cultural performances. Can buy tickets at the entrance gate. Ticket price 700 bahts (Adult foreigners), open daily from 9am to 7pm. Nearest BTS station is Kheha (last BTS stop). Then, take bright Songtheaw (36) from Kheha BTS Station to the Ancient City.

Why the buildings in Ancient City are so small? As I know, they say that the duplicated building should not be competitive with the original ones. Therefore, their sizes are created to be one third of the original ones. (Please check again about the size, thanks.)
