Recreate THE FLASH Lightning Effect ACCURATELY | Advanced After Effects Tutorial

In this advanced After Effects Tutorial I'm gonna show you my approach how to recreate The Flash Lightning Bolts moving in slow motion and with a chromatic RGB split effect.

As always no plugins used!

I tried to be as accurate as in Zack Snyder's Justice League but using efficient und straightforward techniques.

I apologize that this is not a step-by-step tutorial and that I'm rushing through the video. That's why it's rather an advanced tutorial.

The subsurface scattering teqnique is amazing...Iwill recreate it(the lightning)with cc particles world fx, with some glows and all...with a custom depth map...perhaps from runway ml...btw its so incredible ❤️❤️

two line equations the Start line and one end line and make the one equation approach the second equation as it gets closer to the point of interception. That's the maths I would use to do lightning bolts with some touch ups.

But in general i mean put that effect to only one particular part of the image ?
