I think I need to add that Refugees Book to our Library. Thanks for introducing it to me. The Branches books are invaluable to my school community. Most of our students are ELL's. I read RUMP with a reading group last year and the kids loved it. So excited for another in that series. Love your blog. New subscriber.

Wrapping up the school year with a read aloud of Shiloh. I recommend Hatched to every boy in my room that "hates" to read. They always end up loving it. On an unrelated note, my 44 year old self just stumbled across my two favorite childhood Judy Blume books in a box I was going through. The book fair stamp stated May 6, 1983. I was nine when I bought them. They are on the top of my Summer To Read pile. :)
