UN Security Council pass Gaza resolution

The United Nations Security Council has passed a resolution to boost aid into Gaza.

13 of the council's 15 members voted for the motion.

The United States and Russia were the only two nations who abstained from the vote.

The resolution does not call for an immediate ceasefire but does lay the groundwork for more aid to enter Gaza.

After choosing to abstain from the vote, the US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas Greenfield spoke on the severity of the situation in Gaza.

Russia attempted to include an amendment to the resolution calling for a suspension of hostilities.

We must realise that any news we get in western media about the situation in GZ isn't worth considering All western journalists (and probably others too) have to be embedded with the Israeli army. So, they only get to see what they're allowed to and their stories and videos are edited by the Israelis & then by the editors of their own publication before we get to see them. There are other independent news articles around but if you put the names of them - as I've tried to many times - they're immediately deleted.) 67 journalists have so far been killed in the conflict and all by one side.

To be clear - US abstained i.e. did not support or against the recent UNSC resolution on humanitarian aids for Gaza.

This recent passed UNSC resolution sponsored by UAE is actually a watered down resolution by US as seen by US postponing the voting session a number of times to allow US to negotiate & discourse with Arabs nations according to US terms & subject to US agreement, if not the resolution will be vetoed by US as seen in the previous UNSC resolutions on Gaza.

Thus, it is obvious that US is exerting itself as an "egoist world's biggest bully" & also an evil accomplice of Israel Terror (falsely cover-up as the right of self defence) on the genocide of thousands of thousand of innocent & helpless people that is happening every day since Oct 8, 2023 in Gaza right before the eyes of the whole world.

Fiddling with words while Gaza burns! OMG! This is hell on earth. The bombing MUST stop! May Allah/God bring relief, healing and hope to all. May the doctors and medical people be blessed in their work. May St Cosmos and Damian, the angels, saints and Holy Souls, intercede with the Almighty to mend broken bodies and minds.
