I've been asked this probably over 100 times in the last few days, so I figured I'd make a quick video. A lot of people have covered and know about it making the stuns more consistent, but I haven't seen any mentions of the damage buff it gives. Or rather, how the intrinsic stun on Le Monarque doesn't provide the usual damage buff you normally get from stunning Overload Champions.

i think weapons that have DoT are the perfect choice for intrinsic Overload mods, Le Monarque being one of them. If only they added Overload to something like Thorn because DoT Overload weapons stun for sure without the Champ healing in between. I love Le Monarque so much this season for gms.

This actually works with thunderlord too and gives the buff to the entire fireteam. My friends and I went into this nightfall to allow one of us to get the last few stuns for seasonal triumph. Every time he stunned this captain we got a damage buff and were confused. It was because he had Thunderlord on with overload machine gun mod.

Thanks for mentioning this, I would've labored under the assumption that Le Monarque by itself is great, but they've somehow made it even more powerful with the addition of the mod.

Eso try this with secant filaments on a warlock, it seems to work aswell and you get overload shot x2 on your screen? Never seen a x2 stun before

I was wondering how I didn’t notice this during my Glassway GM run… then I remembered we relied on our Titans Arc grenades the whole GM lol. We all forgot to equip Overload because I guess nobody wanted to use a bow

Bungie should fix Le Monarque by giving it true intrinsic anti-overload arrow as long as it is fully drawn, even if it does not hit crit.

I wonder if any exotic that has anti-champion functionality could do more damage and be more effective if you put the anti-champion mod that matches the anti-champion functionality of the exotic equipped.... As example Putting an Anti-Barrier mod on to match Eriana's Vow Anti-Barrier functionality to make it stronger and more effective??

always used the mod even if the weapon had intrinsic effect but never checked about consistency and damage even if I always noticed a better "feeling"
