Family togetherness matter says Marguerite Spagnuolo who grew up in a strong, close family in New York. She is appalled by the trend of families being isolate.
The birth of Marguerite's two children inspired Grandmas2Share, a patentable, USA trademarked doll enterprise. She was inspired to "re-create" my grandmothers in the shape of a doll after losing both of them before they could meet my children. When Marguerite told her kids about my project and showed them the sketches for the prototype dolls, they fell in love with them right away! "I WISH THEY WERE REALLY HERE!" her kid exclaimed.
Grandmas2Share was formed when she drew her "grandma" for the cover of my book.
Grandmas2Share are adorable talking dolls that are popular with both boys and girls all over the world. Each grandmother is given a storybook and has a special compartment in her pocketbook where she keeps a photograph of her favorite grandchild. Grandmas near and far can be read about by children, whether they live on Earth or in space.
