This is a interesting keyboard. You only have to look once to see that Roland has made an innovative effort to redesign the home keyboard from it's most basic elements. The outcome is pleasing and a fresh experience for home music making.

I own this and love it. I plug her into my Klipsh pro media 2.1 speaker system and you would believe your hearing a $2K+ synth.
With a nice set of headphones you ll get amazed how beautiful it sounds. The built in speakers your hearing on this demo can't convey the great tones Roland has built into their GoKeys. It also functions as a fantastic compact 61key bluetooth midi controller as well.
I easily wirelessly pair it up with my Ipad air2 and there is nothing it cant do. I also like the low profile no-knobs sleek design. Yes, you can switch off the click touch sound heard on this video. It has a sustain pedal input jack and a usb jack as well for saving recorded song files into your computer.. Its only approx. 11" wide x 33" long and at 9 lbs. I believe it is the most compact 61-(full size)key synth available.

Great viewing angle on the demo and super insights, too. Thanks👍

This is better than I thought - I was expecting Casio - but they put the top presets from the Juno DS/Juno DI/JV series at the top of each category - those are the only ones you need - the rest on the older keyboards are just hundreds of fx layered versions of the same presets

Is it possible to split and layers sounds? Cannot find this feature, but seems weird if it is not possible.

is there a way to reverse the sustain pedal? my pedal from my Yamaha works the wrong way on this keyboard.

I bet the bluetooth latency shown here is related not with the midi bluetooth signal but with audio bluetooth being sent back from korg gadget to the go keys speakers. The nature of bluetooth latency is in the audio always. Never experienced latency with Bluetooth midi

By using the looping and chord function...is it possible to change the tempo?

Have you tried connecting it to a DAW through the usb slot? Does it work like a midi controller and also does it pick up the sounds from the soundbank?

does it has any chord function for voices without loop mix i think you already had loop mix on before introducing the loop mix function ?

I’m curious about the Chord function, would you be able to use it as a chord detector without it being part of the loop mix and just when you play a chord it will show you what chord you are playing? And also can you change the left side to whatever tone you want for the chord menu?

I need help with my Roland Go: Keys. I’m using it with Simply Piano but the app doesn’t recognize the notes. I played it along with my old keyboard, and the notes in the Roland Go don’t sound like they are supposed to. It’s like they are in the wrong octave or something. How can I fix this?

I read it has 3 types of touch sensitivity. How do you adjust that?

Hi, nice review! I'm thinking of buying this keyboard to use in my band, however I was wondering about the output and how it sounds connected to a PA/digital mixer? I noticed the ouput is on 1/8 rather than a 1/4 jack. Have you tried connecting the output to powered speakers and/or a digital mixer, and what was the sound quality like? Were there any audio artifacts? Also, can the speakers be switched off when it's connected to external speakers?

Hi im looking forward to buying it as a beginner but first i would like to know if i can plug it into my computer as a midi controller and by my understanding this would be using my computer to download and edit tones. Is this posible with this piano?

Got one today and there are some fantastic sounds, the speakers are surprisingly good and quite loud. The usb-b socket should be a crime on a device such as this, a normal printer type square one is 100 times more reliable. No 1/4 jack output is kind of unforgivable, I can see myself modifying mine to have 1 or 2 1/4 sockets for gig situations. Might need to fit a switch to turn off speakers too. Keys feel fantastic, so responsive, The pitchbend is unusable, the lack of auto accompaniment or ability to progam your own rhythms is disappointing, and the membrane buttons are nasty. Not enough buttons, too much menu diving. Having no MIDI Din ports is also a disappointment

Hello! I was wondering what different apps you connected with the Roland Go-Keys? You did a great job. Thank you!
