Lets talk about the awesome and classic house plant, Ming Aralia! Aralias are a lovely tropical shrub or small tree that do well in the home if given proper considerations. Not only are they fairly easy to grow but they offer an extreme advantage when used in decorating. The tight growth habit and airy nature, combined with their unusual trunks adds a lot to a space. Toxic to dogs, cats and people though, keep it away from anything that may consume this plant.

I've had my parsley ming for 50 years. brought them from new York and have made cuttings for my friends. live in florida just keep them on a table in front of window. it grows like weeds, everyone asks me if this is parsley. I just learned from another channel that my variation is the parsley. love it. can't go wrong with these plants. water them lots when they are dry and nothing has hurt them ever.

I love bonsai and my wife just gifted me one of these. Super pumped. And if you're adopting adult children I will gladly come and live in your garden. Canada is too cold right now.

Have one for about 38 years still very healthy and it's a knockout whenever someone new comes to the house. Thanks for your info.

I have a 5' 26 yo aralia. I love it and don't understand why these plants are not more popular. It's such a beautiful plant.

Great video! I LOVE MING ARALIAS TOO! I bought some from Ikea and from a Nyc street fair and have made over 100 cuttings from them and have given away many. I'm trying to make them popular again but many plant lovers still don't know about them. Thanks again for sharing your ming aralia video!

I live in Alaska & I got my Ming aralia for almost 20 years, propagated it myself. It’s now almost 4 feet tall, lives by my picture window with a jungle of other plants & is doing beautifully. Thank you for the tips & info.

Just picked up a really nice sized one for $5. I'm in a zone 7 so he's going to find a nice spot under my skylight 😍

Ming Aralias are gorgeous. But yes mines would turn brown easily during heatwaves although it’s growing in a fairly shady spot. So I use the Mist spray on my hose so I water frequently but not over douse it that it won’t drain too well. I hope to propagate soon! I saw a nice row of them outside of a club once so I want to grow them in a row now.

Love this plant. Lost two tiny ones cuz it dried out. Tiny pot dried too quickly. I learned to transplant to a bigger pot with other plants until it got big enough to be on its own. I May try rooting cuttings to creat a Bonsai Forest. It’s a cool plant
