This truly is a great song. I refused to listen to it ever since I heard about what happened but I have to remember there’s other people who deserve recognition for the song as well.

I'm gonna ignore that one thing everyone's thinking about for 4 minutes and 35 seconds and just enjoy this song.

I first heard this song on NFL Street. I've always liked it.

Knowing his transgressions and loving this song as a young boy playing ps2 is really agonizing.

Despite what Ian did. this song, this band will always have a place in my heart & memory. I remember being as young as 12 and my parents gifting me a 6 disc Sony disc player and one of those was LostProphets Start Something. I played that CD too many times over and over as young as I was young and now I am 26 and this song still brings me happiness with no skipping.

This song carries for me specific memories and nostalgia of a simpler time in my life, and that is what it will always carry for me.

No matter what, Watkins will not take that away from me. This is _my_ song now.

First heard this as a young kid playing NFL Street and always find myself coming back here for some nostalgia. Will always miss those simpler times

Why did I just learn what happen!?!?!? This is the only place I can find this song. It's such a nostalgic song for my childhood and the memories of playing NFL Street. Damn why does this world got to be so messed up? 😪

I know everyone is thinking the same thing about ian, but as a 32 Year old man this song still hits hard. I remember being 12 years old hearing this song 😢

I remember coming home from school and turning on 7th Heaven and the radio while I did my homework, this song came on on a particular day and I recorded it. To have like a Homework Mixtape. I’ll never forget my Older Brother from the Military brought home The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake for us to watch. I was finishing up my homework, super excited.

He died that next summer. Some fucking drunk driver. Last time I heard this song was graduation from high school. I was clearing out some boxes and played a random mix tape. The moment I heard it I was Sobbing in the fetal position for my brother. This song as well as Rooftops brings out a strong reaction in relation to him. but it also forces me to move on with my life..for him. It’s corny because I imagine him on a “Last Train Home” to see me..but in a sense It is I who is really on that train..

I hear what you all are saying, but I’m not thinking about that when I hear this song. Some people have stories connected to this song.

I remember going to metal and alternative clubs from 2005 through to 2010 and the whole room singing the chorus to this song whenever it came on. Imagine being the other members of this band and truly believing you were onto something great. Damn shame.

I'll be honest here, ian doesn't deserve any iota of forgiveness. But it's not like he made the entire song all by himself, the other band members should be appreciated for making this masterpiece happen. ❤

You can like someone’s music without liking or agreeing with who they are as a person

Ian was a monster, but I have to admit...

This song got me through high school. It's become really hard to separate the art from the artist, but I can't stop listening to this song. It's haunting in every way.

I cannot separate the artist from the art. What he did is unforgivable.
