Luka Doncic vs. Giannis – Who Is The Next Face Of The League?
First things first, we have to cover Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freek won back-to-back MVP awards, won a championship and is seemingly impossible to defend against. His accolades are just piling up over the years and he is still right in the prime of his career. As for Luka Doncic, he doesn’t have nearly as many accolades as Antetokounmpo. Doncic has dragged the Dallas Mavericks all the way into playoff contention but they have consistently lost in the first and second round. His stats are ridiculous, and some of the plays he can make are just insane. However, Giannis just beats him when it comes to recognizability at the moment. When you are talking about a player who every NBA fan can instantly recognize like LeBron James, Giannis is the guy. At the end of the day though, each of these guys are generational talents that the league hasn’t ever seen before. I personally feel as though Giannis is already becoming the next face of the league with his likability and championship resume.

I say Luka cause of his scoring ability. He already has the second highest playoffs points per game just behind the goat and he’s in his 4th year in the nba but giannis is in the nba for 7 or 8 years and already in his prime so you all can imagine luka in his prime. Giannis had to take 4 or 5 years to be insane but luka is the best pg in the league if steph wasn’t there.

Come on man. Luka is not even 24 yet and giannis was losing in the first and second round for years before he won a chip and he won his first chip at 27 so the comparison is not really fair. At this point Luka is a much more accomplished player than giannis was at this stage and is much more popular too because of his Play style. Popularity matters too i think Luka is the better candidate for face of the league after LeBron because he has done much more much earlier and has legendary playoff moments already at this stage which are required to build a legacy
