What a way to kick off the year. Developer Commentary Time (This is a long one so buckle up):

- I created a whole new ship because I didn't really want to create new sprites just for adding the goggles. And it's cool either way.

- 4:38 Lilybell will pretty much be my favorite corrupted zombie because she will actually be relevant to the ongoing plot. Just to remind you: Apex Zombies are the most powerful corrupted zombies due to the fact that they can breach the fourth wall. But there is a tier above that.

- The ending of Chapter 8 was inspired by a certain Friday Night Funkin' mod. I will keep this in the OVERHAUL Update because I like it.

- I really liked the idea of Okchun locking in.

- I wanted to add another argument between Pastel Meringue and Currant Cream to pretty much cap off their ongoing arc in the game.

- To be honest I didn't really like how the Dessert Paradise part turned out. It felt too shoehorned in and rushed and meant to be the only means as to how Blue Slushy survived. So I'm rewriting it.

- BLUE LILY AND LILYBELL'S PART WAS MY FAVORITE IN THE FINAL CHAPTER SO I'M KEEPING IT AS IS, JUST WITH VERY MINOR CHANGES.

- I really liked the idea of the Player Character getting corrupted. Really goes to show that most things are gonna be screwed either way. Including the player.

- The Young Survivor is Pibby herself! I didn't feel like doing her sprites so I'm probably saving her physical appereance for the OVERHAUL Update.

- I'm glad you enjoyed it! I do too! Also, if I were to add a Side-Story with Cookie Run OCs in a 2nd installment, yeah, Hype Cookie would survive.

- I decided to make Chamomile and Rainbow Sherbet as survivors because, well, they're innocent and all that so they could parallel Pibby's situation. Girls forced to grow up and be violent and all that. (Man, 2 all thats. No, wait, 3.)

- Yeah! I have a sequel in the works. And it's Kingdom-related. I'm pretty sure the Overhaul will be out in 2025 so I'm pretty sure the sequel will come out in very late 2025 or in 2026.

- I had an Android build in the works but due to technical difficulties I had to scrap it. Although, you can technically play it on Android using third-party apps like JoiPlay. I don't know, I haven't checked but it should work.

- Yes! As stated on a previous devlog, I managed to run it with a Steam Deck! All you gotta do is change some Proton settings on the Steam UI itself as that's what allows Windows apps to run on Linux/Steam OS and boom! OVENGLITCH on the go!

- "We don't know the fate of Gingerbrave" I might remove this in the OVERHAUL Update, but try checking out the middle path in the Prologue... :) Also, I didn't bother adding the Dragons because I didn't feel like adding them.

- Yes! The Ancients and the Super Epics will be involved in the sequel. Doubting about the Beasts though. I like to think that their powers are held back by the Darkness because even the Darkness likes torturing them. Also, one member from the Council will survive. :)

- "Glitchdom?" "KingGlitch?" It's 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗺. There, I said it.

- I don't regret making this a fangame. Making this an FNF Mod as originally intended would be kinda bleh. (The majority of people hate FNF Pibby mods as they're pretty repetitive and mediocre. Well except for stuff like Pibby Apocalypse.) So making it a Visual Novel is a nice change of pace. Hopefully.

- "What happened to Black Garlic and Blueberry Pie?" It will be in a Side-Story that will be unlocked after the main game has been finished. Kind of like an Epilogue of sorts. I won't spoil too much. Everything is up to the viewer's imagination for now...🤫

- It's all good with the "7812 / 7612" shtick. I don't mind it.
