Nea Moudania Halkidiki 2018 / Νέα Μουδανιά Χαλκιδική

Nea Moudania is the second largest city of Halkidiki, after Poligiros. Its distance from Thessaloniki is 54 km and it is located at the start of the Peninsula of Kassandra. It has 9.500 inhabitants and the main occupations of those inhbitants are tourism and fishing. It makes sense because the fishing area of Moudania is among the largest in Mediterranean. Also in Nea Moudania there is a department of Aquaculture of the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki.
