In honor of the United Nation's International Day to Combat Islamophobia, the National MAPS Committee of the SNMA is hosting an important discussion about the impact of Islamophobia in medicine. This webinar will shed light on the challenges faced by patients, future physicians, and physicians due to Islamophobia and explore strategies for promoting cultural competency within healthcare. We are excited to give space to our membership in this way and contribute to the SNMA mission of addressing the needs of underserved communities and increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent, and socially conscious physicians!
