Michigan barber shop reopens despite shutdown: Gov. Whitmer is 'not my mother'

Karl Manke, 77, received a citation Wednesday for violating the executive order on the third day he was open in downtown Owosso, Michigan.

Corporations are open. Wendy's is serving hamburgers across the road from Karl's shop. He is following safety protocol. Can anyone give an intelligent reason why Wendy's is less of a risk selling burgers than Karl is cutting hair?

In Michigan they release prisoners not knowing if infected and state police threatened a 77 year old barber for working and making US citizens happy with fresh haircuts doesn’t make sense strongly seems to want to extend the unemployment in my state

I am praying for you. You are not doing anything bad or evil. Nothing wrong in trying to provide a service people need, working, and earning an honest living. What is so ridiculous is that while they harass a decent person like you, they let criminals out of jail because of "coronavirus." I live in Georgia.
