DUDE! I have the 7.1 version of these, it was my first "big boy" set up! I still use a variation of it today mixed with a couple of other speakers and 4 subs, but they sound quality is pretty good, really nice sound for the price!

One of the common things about buying used speakers is that often the tweeters are blown - I'd suggest playing each speaker individually as a test and make sure all the tweets are tweeting.

Despite the age, those still pretty stylish leaning toward a bit retro...I actually like the idea of 6.1 system for medium size room...the sub is super simple...I don't remember what exactly Onkyo was offering as far as receivers in 2004 (I had a NAD 2 channel back then), but this system still would have paired well with my Onkyo TX-SR606 I had a bit later...the HDMI board had issues on that receiver...easy fix replacing some caps, but I was too busy working to mess with it.

I wonder if these came with a receiver as part of a home theater in a box back in the day? I am curious to find out how you think they sound. I did have a couple of different different HTIBs back in the day, but none of them really sounded that great compared to my modern separate system.

Definitely a good score you should put this setup in your living room and remove that soundbar and you should pair them with a 7.2 onkyo AVR

Nice find. Maybe if you're not going to use them, you can gift to a friend in need. I have my old infinity set I keep debating to either sell for next to nothing or put in my bedroom.
