Golf Show Episode 68 | How to HIT and Driving Iron - Advice from a PGA Pro
Показать описание
Hi everyone!
Welcome to Episode 68 of the Golf Show.
Following on from Episode 67 where we showed the World's first YouTube review of the PXG 0311X Gen 4 Driving Iron, Paul is back in the Swing Centre at Fulford Golf Club with Head PGA Pro Guy Wills to learn how to hit a Driving Iron correctly.
Paul has the 18 degree model with the Xtreme Dark finish, but is this too hot for a 7 handicap golfer to handle?
RELATED EPISODES MENTIONED IN THIS VIDEO:
In Episode 67 Paul:
- Unboxes the club
- Explains the tech
- Hits it on the range to compare distance against a 5 metal and Hybrid
- Tests it to see if you can hit the Driving Iron off the ground without a tee?
- Uses GC2 to assess launch and descent angles under the guidance of a PGA Head Pro
- Compares against the Ping Crossover
- Looks at how much length you are giving up if not hitting Driver
- Takes the driving out on the course
Is this really the kind of club a 7 handicap golfer should consider buying?
If Paul likes this club, could it be a permanent addition to his bag, or an occasional club for windy days and links golf?
...but, what would he take out of his bag to put the Driving Iron in?
