I did this drive 30 years ago, by myself, in a 200 dollar car in the middle of winter. My first over seas adventure, a great way to start life. Cheers from Australia.

My wife and I visisted Canada for 3 weeks in 2016 for our wedding and honeymoon. We landed in Calgary and ended up in Vancouver 2 weeks later; we got married at Lake Louise 19 Apr 2016. Words cannot really explain how beautiful Canada is. We spent the best part of a week in Banff National Park and I think about it nearly every day. Thank you so much for posting this video as it is literally a trip down memory lane for me. :)

I have never been more alone or homesick in my life but this video made me feel okay for a few hours so thank you for that brief peace at a horrible time in my life.

I was born and raised in Calgary and then moved to Halifax in April 2020. I have not been home or seen anyone from back home since. Over the last 6 months I have lost most function of my left wrist, my partner of 5 years, came out to my family and had to cut ties with half my family, including my mom two weeks ago.
