Donald Trump’s campaign accuses Keir Starmer’s Labour Party of interfering in US election

Republican Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has accused Keir Starmer’s UK Labour Party of interfering in the US election just two weeks before Americans flock to the voting polls.

In a freshly filed legal complaint to the US Federal Election Commission (FEC), the Trump-Vance campaign has accused Labour of “blatant foreign interference” in the upcoming presidential election.

The allegations come after a slew of Labour activists and volunteers flew across the pond to help campaign for presidential opponent Kamala Harris.

The complaint has called for an investigation into what it believes to be “illegal contributions” from Labour ahead of November 5th.

However you look at it, laws were broken in either the UK or the US.

1. Members of the British Labour Party are being asked to travel to the U.S. to voluntarily campaign for a political candidate.
2. A work visa is required for this kind of activity, as it would be illegal to campaign without one.
3. When applying for a B-1 work visa, the applicant must declare the purpose of their work, including any political campaign activities.
4. U.S. law prohibits foreign nationals from interfering in national elections, so if a B-1 visa was issued for political campaigning, it would have been done illegally based on the declared purpose.
5. If Labour Party members campaigned on a B-2 tourist visa without obtaining a work visa, they would have broken U.S. law, as it is illegal to work—even voluntarily—on a tourist visa.

Also if they aren’t needed here right now to fix our own country and are free for a jaunt to the US, then it shows the government is over staffed, we are paying them to do nothing and redundancies are needed to balance the finances.
