Just wanted to say I truly appreciate your videos. No one else on YouTube has been anywhere near as helpful for me as a beginner with camera and lighting gear. I realise I'm just a stranger on the old internet, but after losing my wife in 2018, I've really struggled to get my footing. I really mean this when I say: your channel, but I guess more specifically - you, has/have been an absolutely incredible resource and source of inspiration for me. You give clear and concise information in an easy to digest format. You could be the worst person in the world off camera for all I know (I highly bloody doubt it, though 😂), but your gentle, humorous approach is really greatly appreciated!!! Great review, as always. My wife and I travel full time with only carry-on luggage, so having a tiny key light to pair up with my Sony FX30 has been essential for our YouTube channel. The Zhiyun X100 has performed so well combined with their travel soft box. Both fit great in my Nomatic sling with the camera and other gear. I have a Anker 140 watt battery that I use to power the X100, which I found to be more versatile than the Zhiyun battery. Cheers!

Besides the RGB, why would you pick this light over the x100 from Zhiyun? Both the X60 and X100 weigh almost the same, with the battery grip have the same foot print. Both pretty much cost same, atleast with the x100 you get the bowens adapter included in the combo. I'm just trying to figure out the value of this light.

I have two SL60W in my home studio, and mains cables running across the floor. These Zhiyun lights would make my life so much easier. They should offer a discounted three pack.

Nice! I just got an fx30 for a client work! Great cam. Id put dougy on the tripod permanently but that’s just me lol.
Not sold on the light though. That reflector that’s integrated in the bowens adapter makes me think that it’s gonna create a center spot in the softbox
