Ferrari 458 - Petrolhead DREAM

Considered by many to be one of the best cars Ferrari ever made. The 458s naturally aspirated V8 revs up to 9,000 RPM and the car has the handling to go with its engine. It does not lack in the looks department either, with a perfect blend of aerodynamics and great proportions.

The car has a near perfect combination of drivability, usability, with its great frunk and excitement.

Oh boy has this car aged well! What a beautiful piece of engineering.
I just lookt it up on wikipedia and I simply can not believe that it's been almost 15 years since they startet selling the 458.

It's practically perfect in every way. Fantastic looks, impressive handling, visceral sound, the right amount of naturally aspirated power, pretty comfortable, even somewhat practical in terms of storage space.

It´s a true master stroke by Ferrari. It´s specific torque output is just out of this world. Very, very well designed engine.

This is 1 of the best cars out there which has built by Ferrari. Along with Lexus LFA of Toyota & Porsche 911 GT3 RS. All are track focus car that have awesome balance & very fast at their time.

Just gets you to the back of the next traffic faster, since you can't filter in a cage. I've had a V10 M6 and then a Z06, the dream cars of my youth, so I get the satisfaction. But I just sold the Z06 with no interest in replacing it. (Sports)cars are great for those fleeting moments of open road on the way to the store when you're hauling cargo I guess. Seems like most owners are content to trundle along single-file with their cars & coffee club and rev their engines now and then, but I'd feel a fool not driving cars like this "as the factory intended". 10mpg commutes and road trips aren't the best either! So I'm looking for an AWD wagon for practical needs, but frustration-free fun is the domain of 2 wheels, and what I'll choose every time.
